I’m currently a senior at Valley High School. I’m a competitive swimmer,  involved with many extracurricular activities, and have a deep passion for helping people. I’m the President of the National Honors Society, Secretary of our ACS Chem Club chapter, and a member of the National Council of Youth Leadership to name a few. I organize various charity events for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I’m a Certified Nursing Assistant and a research intern in the immunology department at Des Moines University school of Osteopathic Medicine. I’ve been involved with HOSA for several years and created many memories. My favorite memories include finalizing at the International Leadership Conference, meeting all of the passionate members, and serving as President with the other State Officers and amazing organization. I plan on swimming in college while majoring in cellular biology, to one day attend medical school to pursue my dream in medicine as a Research Oncologist/Hematologist or as an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in bone and soft tissue sarcomas.
