Welcome! We’re so happy you want to join Iowa HOSA! We wouldn’t be where we are today without our student members, advisors, and school administrators. Below is a current listing of our local chapters. If your school isn’t listed, please reach out to Iowa HOSA’s Executive Director at director@iowahosa.org and inquire about starting a chapter below.
Iowa HOSA is considered a co-curricular student organization and links directly to career education coursework. HOSA enables students to achieve high academic and occupational standards, develop leadership skills, and provide opportunities for success. To learn more about HOSA membership by visiting the HOSA-Future Health Professionals website or check out the affiliation membership packet.
The membership fee for students and advisors is $24 per academic year (August 1 – July 31). Of the $24 dues, $14 goes to Iowa HOSA for state operations and activities and $10 goes to HOSA, Inc. for overall operations and activities. There is no chapter fee or school fee to start a HOSA chapter or continue annual operations.
